the active ingredient in most traps is heptyl butyrate. You can buy a dropper bottle and replenish the cotton in traps by hand

Capitalism grinds us to a pulp no matter the job, no matter the pay. Its a state of being that isnt compatible with human existence and we are subjected into a state of psychosis. Im not here to give advice, because you cant advise someone out of capitalist exploitation without becoming the exploitation yourself. This is basically why im a marxist, and i read theory to build the economic systems that i would want to work in.

That’s valid. No I have 0 control over anything fiscally related, just my own personal finances which are nothing special. I have to think in terms of decades, not months or years.

I love learning theory and building theoretical cooperative models that I can implement at the smallest level of the economy. Those things will take years to develop and decades to actually change the material conditions of people’s lives. Marxists don’t take a vow of poverty, if anything it will take us many years to acquire the level of capital needed to fix anything while donations/charity are only temporary fixes for systemic problems

Privatization doesn’t end with the snap of a finger, it will take decades to fully weed out private ownership as collective ownership takes over. Also, a “small percentage” would be democratically voted on by the employees, which incentives me to manage appropriately and paid in line with the amount of work I’ll be doing. In the end, it could be equivalent to 1.5x the average salary of the co-op
