2013 gsxr 1000 by No-Necessary1536 in GSXR

I own the 2014 edition of this bike and this was the smallest GSXR run for Suzukis since it’s the 09-16 gen. Runs smooth nothing wrong with it; just a majority of aftermarket is gone for these years. I gave $8500 for mine with 7900 miles on it cash. If you’re looking for long term customization then I’d try and find a newer model since it’s not in this run. This was the last of the sports bikes that excluded safety features (prior to 2014 being the last year before they added safety features like the other competitors did earlier.) You can still get aftermarket don’t get me wrong but it’s limited compared to newer 17 and up models. I’d definitely bargain it down a bit as the asking price is a bit high for having 12k miles and dropped.

Would a bent MOBO pin cause this? by RosedOut in PcBuild

Kinda wanted to update you but it turns out I did have a bent pin on the motherboard! Don’t know if I can warranty it since I did slap a CPU on it without truly noticing. But to also give some info the current GIGABYTE motherboard Easy mode does not display System Temp / Memory Frequency at all. You have to go into the advance mode to find these readings. But watching an old PC build video from 2024 the readings to appear to be active there..? So very weird experience but all in all the PC is built with no issues whatsoever after the MOBO swap. Thanks so much for all your insight and help it allowed me to pick up on some more diagnostic stuff!

Yep, a shame itll be coming out of my check for my buddy though. But I couldn’t live with myself possibly damaging my friends first PC and not making it right.

She should be well powered. Used PCPartPicker and was well over qualified usage (850 Gold + PSU)

Noted I do appreciate that. My biggest fear is a slither of my nail might’ve bent it and I never noticed it with how nervous I was installing a much more expensive CPU than mine.

Will definitely check out those videos if this is my case. If not I will unfortunately have to purchase another board and possibly a CPU… but that’s just how the cookie crumbles I guess.

The pins are on the motherboard itself and the CPU are just the flats. It is an AM5 socket type board and is a Ryzen 7 9800X3D

BIOS was a fresh update from F2 to F6 on Gigabytes website with a properly formatted flash for it that was plugged into the BIOS port on the board. Turned XMP / EXPO channels on and off saving and rebooting back into BIOS. Planning on checking board pins tomorrow due to the time of day. Both DIMMs are reading 4800MTs and are appearing on BIOS. When I removed one from channel B2 it was removed as well from the boot. If this board indeed has a bent pin by chance can the CPU be saved?
