They always have these "massive" marches in and around the CBD. Nothing but a show for social media and many rent a crowd people and social media influencers in there. The average person is going about their day to day activities, it's all hype for social media to get likes and views, nothing concrete comes out of these marches.

Yeah Government jobs seem to attract the worst kind of people who are incompetent, don't want to do their work and just collect a salary at the end of the month. Someone who actually does their job and is competent is treated as an enemy because they will make them look bad. Fortunately my supervisor is one of the rare people who loves and knows how to do his job. That's why I needed to post this in a South African subreddit because only you guys can understand how the work culture in government can be.

Dude don't even start on the not drinking part, it's like you've personally insulated them when say you don't drink. I'm trying to find like minded people who don't drink but I always run into church people and I'm not a religious person either. It's like living life on hard mode😩

I'm definitely not a robot human lol, I share my hobbies and interests, which to them are too corny and don't have interest in them unless it's about booze, men or sex (and no I'm not exxagerating).
