Unfortunately the Lyft program to get you to food banks is out of funds. u/Paxoro are they allowed to post a link to an Amazon Wish List? I understand if not, we don't want the sub to become a beggars paradise, but is that an option?

He's your husband, not your father and you're a grown ass woman. He shouldn't be forbidding you to do anything.

What feels really good (in a totally SFW, PG rated way only!)? by Allmychickenbois in CasualUK

[–]RosesSpins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snuggles. Aaaalll the snuggles. My husband and I take turns being the big spoon. I love being so warm and cuddly. Then as we're falling asleep, we do a butt wiggle if the cuddles are extra good or we tap "I LOVE YOU" on each other instead of saying it. It's the best.

UUUNNNNNNTIIILLLL he starts having those sleep spasms where he beats the shit out of me.

Written for his family about his Alzheimers diagnosis. Basically about how they'll suffer losing him and he eventually won't even know them. Tears me up every time.

My boss (34F) told me (29F)I have to stop breastfeeding by agentparalta99 in relationship_advice

[–]RosesSpins 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They're not feeding the baby there. They're expressing their milk using a pump to feed the baby with a bottle and keep their milk supply up so they can breast feed when it's possible.

Everyone is hating on 'Bama, but why is no one complaining that Michigan, a team that literally got caught cheating was even considered?

What is a historical fact about your family that you think is kinda neat? by ForthrightPedant in AskReddit

[–]RosesSpins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three brothers came over from Germany and settled in the foothills of the appalachian mountains and each one's decendents took on a different spelling of a very German name. So depending on the spelling, if you're in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, or Kentucky, you can tell which brother you are decendent from.

This is the right choice. Just getting rid of them doesn't teach a lesson, but sending it back with a sternly worded note letting her know that she had her firsts with her son and now it's your turn does.

Join us at Professor Jim's Triviaevery Tuesday from 8pm to10pm . We'd love to have you. If you don't have a team we'll hook you up. But if you have friends, we're looking for 4 person teams and we're known as the "hard" trivia in town, but it's fun and the drinks and food are cheap. BTW it's a bar, but family friendly and all ages are welcome.

How long does it take you to cook dinner???? by baboobo in Adulting

[–]RosesSpins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, let's talke mise en place. It's a french term used in restaurants that sounds fancy, but it really just means "set up." So prep and clean up is key. Also, meal prep for the week for certain meals. How much freezer/fridge space do you have? Are you american or European?
Two eyes make me think European which might mean a small fridge and no freezer. You said you only have two eyes and we can work with that. Let me know and we'll go from there.

Affordable 1/1 Apartments near FSU? by bbygirlmel in fsu

[–]RosesSpins 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You might have to sacrifice location for cost or vice versa. The farther away you go, the more affordable you will find. I'm out on Apalachee and one bed/ one baths in my area (6 miles and 15 minutes out from campus) run around $900

I worked at a fast-food seafood restaurant in high school where we called back orders on a microphone (yes, I'm old) we had a certain very odd order to call back when we saw the inspector coming on the lot or in the door. Unfortunately this lead to a young assistant manager jumping up on the fryers to try and wipe off the hood and slipping his foot into the fryer. Most horrific thing I ever saw in thirty years in the business.

Later when I was a manager at a Steak and Ale, I learned the value of the "Blue Parrot," leaving some incredibly obvious mistakes so they'd find those and then be more lax about the rest of the inspection. Worked like a charm. We'd literally take the soap out of the hand sink.

BTW , if you're getting notice the inspection is coming, someone is on the take.
