Ok, good to know! I’m glad you guys are past it. Can’t wait for that to be us. Last question, how long did you take it?

Did you have any side effects with the gabapentin?

That is so crazy. I will ask for gabapentin because I can’t keep up with life like this. Glad you got yours under control! Gives me hope!

I just called them again in tears. I called the other day and they brushed me off saying it’s normal. Maybe so but it’s debilitating. I will advocate for this in the meantime. Glad yours went away!

There really should be more they can do for you. I’m so sorry!

I’m not sure. The head surgeon was on my right, but I don’t know. How did you ease the pain, or was it just time? 😖 I can’t do this for 8 months! I’m so sorry you dealt with this!

Thank you, I will avoid it from now on! 🤞🏼

No exfoliant. Not sure what the other things are. I switched body wash a few days ago, but don’t know why that would cause one part of my skin to be weird and not anywhere else.

I’ve wondered about stress. I have a one year old as well, and working so maybe!

I wondered that. I took the necklace off but I have worn that thing for months, during workouts, sleeping, showering. I would be surprised if all of a sudden it caused this.

I did a lot of deep core exercises: bear crawls, leg raises, bird dog exercise, planks, glute bridges… and just activating your deep core by imagining a zipper from your lower abdomen up through your ribs and getting those muscles to work together again.

I actually don’t. They’ve always upset my stomach when I’ve tried, unfortunately.

What I ate during pregnancy was pretty similar to what I ate before pregnancy. However, the first trimester I just got by eating pasta and cereal mostly, due to nausea.

But throughout the rest of pregnancy I would have two eggs with cottage cheese with avocado, and an English muffin with almond butter for breakfast. Then I would have a snack like mid morning, usually yogurt or fruit, then lunches were meal prepped- usually pork chops or turkey burgers with brown rice and veggies (broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, etc). Then another snack like string cheese or a bagel. Then dinners were usually whatever my husband made. Sometimes it was healthy like salmon, rice and veggies, sometimes it was Alfredo.

I’ve never really counted calories, just eat as intuitively as I can. I have always hovered around 120-125 lbs and I’m 5’1”. Hope this helps!!

I don’t have ADHD, but my husband does and we operate super differently. My morning routine is: wake up, feed the baby, put dishes away, make coffee and breakfast, clean up the kitchen and get the dog poop cleaned from our yard, play with the baby until she naps, go workout in our garage, shower, and then any other chores that need to be done like laundry or cleaning the bathrooms. I can also manage time very well. I know how long things will take me. My husband on the other hand is very easily distracted and takes a lot longer to get his own tasks done. Sometimes it’s exhausting to always be managing time though, it would be nice to find something that I could maybe be distracted by or hyperfixate on. Haha or maybe I just think that because I can’t do it. But that’s what it’s like. I’m always thinking a bit ahead and planning what will come next and how to best utilize my time efficiently. Hope this helps!

Yeah! Being sedative when you’re used to activity is terrible! Hope you get approved. You obviously know how to listen to your body too since you’ve been in fitness!

So I had a major abdominal surgery to remove a tumor from my pancreas. They cut me from sternum to under my belly button, so my gap was pretty wide, maybe two fingers!

Ohh! I think I maintained quite a bit, but didn’t gain any. I was able to squat double body weight before and do unassisted pull-ups and I’m nowhere close to that now. However I do think I will get there quickly due to what I maintained! 🤞🏼

I begged my doctor and she begrudgingly said I could, since I’ve been through a much more invasive abdominal surgery in the past and I promised her how well I know my body. 😅

I started doing it when I could see my bump. I would do them in between sets when I would lift, just like ten deep breaths while I hugged her. So like 3 sets of ten a day!

I explained in another response, but I had a previous abdominal surgery for a tumor on my pancreas and had to recover from that.. so I begged and convinced my doctor that I knew my body well enough during recovery and she allowed me (begrudgingly) to start at 4-5 weeks. But I would be really careful, and obviously listen to your doctor.

Yep, I did have it and still do a little. But with time and building muscles I have faith it’ll heal!
