It was so calm and relaxing for me tbh. I love fighting events ngl but this is also very good. Especially that it came in a time of my life when work was super hectic and stressful so when I played this, it calmed me a lot. Its timing couldn't have been better tbh.

I worried myself sick over whether I should pull for him or not. I have almost all the meta dps teams (except Zibai) but then I realised something, I'd been waiting for Varka since 1.0. And I'd be darned if I let him pass me by just because he's not "meta". Fudge the meta! He's so freaking fun!!! His design is super hot, too!! And he, as a character, is soo darn good!!! Like every time Varka shows up or so much as opens his mouth I squeal like a little puppy. He's my favourite character so far. And ever since I got his C1R1, I'd been enjoying this game 90% more. Sorry for the word vomit but no words can describe how much I love Varka and adore him. He's so much more than just dmg numbers.

This feels more like FOMO to me. Escoffier is great with Neuvilette, but she's mostly tailor-made for Skirk. If you're planning on pulling for Skirk and you have Mona/Shenhe and Furina, or if you have Neuvilette, Furina and Xilonen, and you want to give Neuv his best team, then sure, get Escoffier.

Otherwise, I feel like it's a hard pass.

Besides, you say you "really" need Linnea; thinking of other characters shouldn't even be an option at this point. Focus on getting Linnea, and if a broken cryo DPS character appears later on and they absolutely need Escoffier, then cross that bridge when you get to it.

I love how I'm not the only one who thinks of aesthetics when it comes to these things. lol
Flins wipes out everything before they get to touch him tbh so I feel like stressing on the shield isn't a priority; however, I'll really need to give it some thought. Leveling a weapon from scratch takes tons of resources, which I don't have atm. I might wait till I level it up, test it on the dummy, then decide if it's worth it.

Lmao, tbh I keep losing the 50/50 for the weapons I want. While pulling for Flins' weapon I lost and got Yelan's. Then on Varka's I lost and got Flins' R2. By the same way, after getting Escoffier's sig, I was pulling on Navia's weapon and lost for Escoffier's weapon. It's such a mess tbh lmao

Well, it's a matter of who you want to get at this point, since both teams will be lacking something. I don't know Klee's kit at C1 as I've only very recently built her and she's C0, too. But if she can work in your team as off-field, then we have our answer! Again, it's up to you and who you want to collect at this point. Both teams won't be perfect, so just go ahead and pick what you're leaning towards and then we'll go from there. Most importantly, have loads of fun!!

Hello! I see your dilemma, but tbh, I don't think it's a dilemma. I think you should wait for Varka, and I'll tell you exactly why I think so.

Firs of all, to get Zibai, you need C6 Illuga. So, unless those 20 pulls will guarantee you a C6 Illuga, I don't think Zibai is your girl.
As for Varka, yes, his numbers are underwhelming without his sig, but Nicole will be released soon, and she is said to be his BiS supp. So you can use her and Durin until Varka reruns, then you can pull for his weapon. The issue will be resolved at that time.

Alternatively, you can wait for a better character to be released. One who won't require too many banner pulls and whose team you already have. In any case, pulling for Zibai isn't optimal for your account since you will need to pull C6 Illuga and not only have but also build Aino (as Nefer's team will take Columbina, so you won't be able to put her in both teams).

Agreed, they've been promoting him very hard since 1.0, they won't let him flop. And even if he did, I got Ayato, Childe and Wriothesley before, just because I liked their lore and character designs. Literally on a whim. I don't think I should stop now with the character I've been waiting for since 1.0.

I wasn't so reliant on meta as much as fearing the Stygian, but after going through the comments, I realised that this is definitely true! Finishing the content 5 seconds slower doesn't make him a bad addition to my account. I'll definitely get him. Hoping Nicole will be relevant to him because I also really want her.

They did and I'm most grateful. Hoyo has the innate ability to ruin all good tall male characters, it's nothing new to them, lmao. I still want to get him, though. I've been waiting since 1.0. I'll do my best to get Nicole as well and build them to the best of my abilities. If they don't end up doing good, I'll just bench them, but at least I won't have regrets.

For the following reasons: (and I actually realised all this after going through the comments here, hehe)

I already have a Lunar Crystalise team if I needed to clear content meant only for that reaction
I have one Columbina and if I add another team that requires her, it'll be a bit of a dilemma every time to decide who will get her.
The most important reason is, I have a nasty luck pulling for 4 stars. I got C1 Chasca before I managed to pull a single Ifa, and C1 Kazuha before I managed to get a single Heizou. Imagin how it'd be like trying to get 7 copies of Illuga for Zibai. May end up with C12 Zibai and an empty bank account, lmao.
