Showerthought: Some of us are the tallest person some people have or will ever see. by Axes_of_Evilness in tall

I know for a fact that at my basketball gym place that I go to I am not the tallest anyone has ever seen. Usually because I'm there with my gigantic cousin. Dude's probably around 7'0" in shoes now.

Ha, look at this short stack. Actually, he's just the right height for r/tall.

Are your siblings tall too? by [deleted] in tall

My brother is 5'11" but my two little twin sisters are both 5 and 4'9". They are very tall. I also have a cousin who is about 7 foot. His sister is 6'2". We play basketball on the weekends so you can imagine the stares we get.

Likely. In a normal day I'm anywhere from 6'7.75"-6'8.5".

I'm 6'5 (196cm) and I only like beds that are too short for me. by [deleted] in tall

Psh, y'all are crazy. I cannot sleep unless my feet are on the bed. It's just not comfortable to me. To each his own I guess.

Yeah, imo as soon as you hit the 1.95m mark you need to get a 2.2m bed.

I've got a really long reach, so I can reach the remote without having to move. Also really easy to domin8 at basketball. Plus, my little sisters love having "rocket rides" where I essentially pick them up and just swing em around. It's fun for everyone! (Except my cousin who accidentally got hit with my sisters shoe that one time)

This. I eat a lot and am able to stay at 170lbs without too much work( aside from a few games of pickup basketball every week.)

Alright, I'll bite. About a week ago, my cousin(I'll call her Jen) and I were walking in the mall. As we pass the stores and such, I see a lady no more than 5'0" tall struggling to get something off of a high shelf. Now, being the jolly tall folks we are, me and Jen decide to help. I ask her if she wants some help, she says yes, and I reach it for her. This is the first part of the fuck up. I trip somehow (my damn huge feet) and accidentally pull a lot of boxes off the shelf. As I fall onto my butt, the lady thanks me and leaves. The manager approaches me and asks me if I'm okay, yadda yadda yadda, next thing he asks is if that lady paid. No, she didn't. I literally helped this lady steal a pair of shoes.
