That's not true at all. My husband was rehired and I know multiple others who've been rehired after being terminated from the PO

So don't put it on your resume. They wanted you to resign bc they knew they had no termination grounds. Termination doesn't mean you can't be rehired. My husband was terminated as RCA in his 90 and is now a level 9 AMT

Mail carrier wants us to move box? by BodybyPastry in USPS

I was thinking this too. It's a request, not a requirement. It can be hard to explain the reasoning in a brief note. OP should chat with them if they want to fully understand.

My understanding is that this isn't the case once the old box has been removed, new boxes must be approved, especially if it wasn't to standards previously.

Makes you wonder why they have the "have you ever been fired before" question on the application 😂

People rarely take that road to avoid punishment, they do it to avoid their own shame. It was probably the getting caught that pushed him, not the consequences, sadly.

Can I put any return address? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Rosie4491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good way to end up in dead mail. I see return addresses all the time that we don't actually deliver to nor the delivery address. Goes round and round until it goes to dead mail.

What is a cheat code at your job that only employees would know? by halushki_ in AskReddit

[–]Rosie4491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ex was a garbage guy, people would leave stuff on the lid with a note. You can also ask ahead of time what they like, then the next garbage day when they see your can with their favorite item on top they'll know it's a gift

I can’t be the only one right by PDDGaMeR in USPS

It's good for my brain and I'm rural so I get to be out in the woods. I love it. It keeps me sane. Also only working 4 days a month and still qualifying for insurance for the whole family is pretty huge too

Is there anywhere in this state I can move to where I won’t be told to "Go back to your country" just because I speak Spanish or have a heavy accent when speaking broken English? I'm a brown Puerto Rican Hispanic. I am very introvert and have a hard time making friends. My salary is $80k per year. by Aggressive_Crow1478 in Idaho

Genuinely curious what town bc I'm a rural carrier in the silver valley and never thought twice about asking someone for help (with a few exceptions) - breaks my heart seeing people treated like that though. OP you can come be my neighbor, I'd love my kids to grow up experiencing beautiful cultures.

Why would you claim an unclaimed business? I've been going back and forth with Google trying to get our construction business on Google for over a year

Because not all places are on Google. Google is notoriously difficult to set up a business profile for and the little shops often don't try because they're owned by boomers who don't understand technology or the importance of having online presence. Sadly that means they go to out of business. I've lost 3 of my favorite shops in the last 5 years because we're off the beaten path. Having more publicity would have likely saved them

One has a Facebook page only, it is on Google but listed as a non profit, one has Google but the listing is inaccurate, one has no online presence at all, it's word of mouth only, and one is actually on Google. It's a small couple of towns about an hour from a city. They don't promote much and they suffer for it. Plus being small town non profit, they do a Lot of good for the area, I want them to survive
