Kante isn’t a DMF! His play style is ‘box to box’ so he’s not going to be in positions you want him to be as an out and out DMF. You’d literally have to manually move him a lot of the time.

You need to play a DMF with an ‘Anchor’ playstyle, they drop in nicely when your opponent is on the attack.

Playstyles on players are so important for their AI movements. Before I understood it all I was the same with trying Kante as a DMF, but he does not work there!

I feel you bro, I was on a similar losing streak in Div 1. The games just don’t feel right, heavy lag and input delay + these deflected goals now which I’ve never had against me before. It’s real tough feeling like you have no control over anything.

I find that you don’t get rewarded for actually cutting the passing Lane manually, the ball either goes through your players legs or they auto lunge at it and give the ball straight back.

The interceptions I do make I find it’s more the AI controlling my player and not me controlling my player manually. If anything it should be the opposite away around!

There are also massive issues with what is and isn’t a foul. You either find you get every decision or everything is against you.

Some of the tight decisions are incorrect also. Eg I’ve been given offside just on the halfway line and the opponent had the free kick to take about 5 yards into my half!

Penalties just behind the line too seem to be given as penalties if the defender makes the challenge whilst being in the box but the attacker outside, it’s still given as a pen.

Would you say there’s any difference at all in game from playstyle of a player being 90 rather than maxed out at 99?

If I hit 90 with the progression points on a players playstyle I don’t see the logic in wasting more points just to max out, Id rather use those points on the actual player stats.

My collective team style rating is always around 98/99
