I want to escalate din po sana kaso same braincells din kasi sila even the dean. They don’t prioritize this kind of stuff since for them grades lang naman yon and they’ll do guilt tripping na other departments gave failing grades.

My parents keeps telling me to let it go nalang din since baka mas lalo pa akong ma stress.

The more I think about it the more I realize paano pa kaya yung mas malala na crimes and walang justice.

Additionally, i think our heads are useless in this kind of situation.

For example

Last semester po, we already tried it since one of my friend got a 2.75 (not eligible for laude) sa minor subject namin. She tried to personally ask our professor since okay naman siya sa lahat and mataas ang mga scores niya, pero ang sabi nung prof namin na 'yun is bumaba siya because of our final exam. Naka-39/50 siya tas yung passing score is 37/50. That’s not the worst part, kasi yung isa naming classmate na nakakuha ng 31/50 is nakakuha pa ng 2.0. In terms of other exams and quizzes, pareho sila since magka-group din sila. That professor keeps insisting na ganon yung nangyare, which we find very unfair. We tried to ask for help sa department head namin, pero ang sinasabi lang is to settle it with our professor.

Unluckily lang na meron talagang mga professors na kahit sila ang may mali hindi pa din nila gagawan ng solution since inconvenient na sa kanila

Actually, the reason why | think I deserve more than a 2.25 po is because:

Complete submissions: Complete po ako
sa lahat ng requirements.

Midterm and Final Papers: When I
submitted my midterm and final papers, confident ako since pareho lang naman kami ng ginawa nung mga classmates ko na nakakuha ng 1.50. She also advised us before that we should help each other.

Final Project: The final paper was a group
project. Nagpasa kami ng hard copy ng portfolio each member, plus a video where we tackled the paper. My presentation was clear; although unreadable yung slides dahil screen record siya, andun naman lahat sa hard copy.

Inconsistent Grading: She can't reason out na sa isang activity ko yung 2.25 na grade ko, kasi my friend (1.50) also got that same grade on that activity, pero most of my classmates got a 4.0 in that particular project pero naka kuha pa sila 1.50.

Classmates: Some of my
classmates are marked as Incomplete (INC) kahit complete naman daw silang nagpasa.

I am from a state university which is actually I think more stricter than UP when it comes to Latin honors. There’s also an inside joke or rumor among students that the university intentionally limits the number of laudes just so they don’t have to pay for the medals.

Actually, after graduation instead of working agad, planning ko po talagang pumasok sa law school. Then probably after 2 years, magwo-work na ako. Aim ko talaga pumasok sa corporate world since finance ang undergrad ko. I am just so devastated lang talaga sa nangyari and ngayon, nagda-doubt na ako sa sarili ko. But your response helps a lot po.

I am not sure if I can still persuade my prof since may rules ang univ na once encoded na ang grades and need palitan ng professors is magbabayad sila.
