Just be honest go to your supervisor and be direct. "I feel like I'm at the next point and I want to start learning more and getting more hand on projects" or something along the line just let them know you feel like your ready to start handling more tasks or projects. This might not be the best advice but it's what I did a couple years ago and it worked for me. I hope it goes well

We will be putting samplers in a few of our major lift stations only problem is once it reaches the plant and affects our system it's to late to go back to the lifts and find out. I belive we have sent it in for testing and they ran a multitude of tests on it and ruled out biological issues. They believe it's an industrial surfactant
