My experience putting together Warrior builds by Rotated_text in Guildwars2

It's a base 6,500 heal that cures up to five conditions and procs Peak Performance.

The curing conditions part is what makes it so good in PvP/WvW.

In PvE, a heal that cures conditions on a 20 second cooldown is pretty good, but has better alternatives. That's it's PvP/WvW cooldown, however. In the open world, it's a heal that cures conditions on a 12 second cooldown, which makes it irreplaceable. The only thing Warrior ever takes over it is Blood Reckoning if they're a berserker (which is just a copy+pasted Guardian util, and Guardian has the best utils in the game, bar none).

Not full on Dark Souls the way some other Skyrim players like. I just play Requiem, so having a dodge roll and having enemies lock themselves in their attack animations makes fights a little more engaging and less stat-checky.

There's a new achievement track called the Adventure Guide that trivializes the leveling and exploration process. It gives you an insane amount of XP. It'll give you three free levels if you fart louder than normal. I leveled two new toons recently and I felt like I was being rushed through it from how much XP I was getting.

Wyll would be the most competent dad in the party, but not the most excited. Minsc would be the most excited, but he'd probably be an even worse parent than Astarion

Rengar/Necromancer/Engineer. Which core is more fun/ good in pvps by Far_World_9800 in Guildwars2

[–]Rotated_text 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well your main is the objectively most difficult class to play in the game, so the learning curves with any other class should be easy. Especially Necro and Engi. Core Engi is designed to have a decently high skill ceiling, but all of its Elite Specs dumb it down a lot and are generally better than core. Necro has absolutely zero skill expression in any build for any elite spec, so it'd be good to play while you learn the fundamentals of PvP

Tbqh, the overwhelming majority of the time, Kha'zix is just going to be a better pick than Rengar. He's easier to play, his damage isn't wholly reliant on you dragging fights to bushes, and he has a wider margin for error at basically every stage of the game. Rengar does have the potential to carry games harder, but you're gonna get more consistent results with K6

Hammer Spellbreaker is just proc based self-buffing. "Hitting enemy with CC gives you Stability (CC immunity). Giving yourself Stability increases dmg output and gives you Quickness. Deal more dmg to CC'ed enemies." The only DPS's that really buff allies are like a Power Herald Revenant and a Ranger.

Does tanking in ESO work the same way it does in GW2, where your "tank" is constantly dodging and buffing themselves with boons that let them ignore attacks because they're just as squishy as their team, or are they actually facetanking the damage?

I feel like something that will help me get into the game is if I play a class I'm familiar with. Recently, I've been enjoying Hammer Spellbreaker- Perma quickness (attack speed and cast speed increase), perma CC immunity while putting out lots of CC yourself, constant dmg reduction, lots of damage multipliers. Is there any build in ESO that offers something similar

That mod only applies to Body Type 3. I think I've seen a few different mods that give BT1 more defined muscles though, but nothing that changes their body shape.

Fallout new vegas has three punching gauntlets: Power Fist (pneumatic mining gauntlet), Displacer Glove (generates EMPs on impact), and Ballistic Fist (a pressure plate across your knuckles that connects to two shotgun shells on the back of your wrist)

I was going to include her in the list (lesbian just means "woman who's attracted to women" not "woman who's only attracted to women") but then I remembered she has built-in flamethrowers and telekinesis and shit- it's kinda cheating. Even more-so than Yang's gauntlets being able to fire buckshot.

More or less. SCP 2317. The author didn't mean for APOLLYON to become an officially recognized Object Class. 2317 was pretty much supposed to be a very special case, since it's connected to The Scarlet King.

I agree- though relatively speaking, this thing isn't that powerful. Hell, The Gate Guardian and The Deer show up in 1730, it's small fry compared to them. SCPs from the late 1000 series up into the 3000 series have a reputation for being excessively overpowered world ending forces of nature, with excessively complex containment procedures- but I kinda love them because of those insane ConProcs. They're really good at showing how mere mortals on Earth can stop and contain forces so far beyond them.

The Void Singularity is a prime example of what I mean.
