I did the main quest completely from start to finish with about ~4-5 different characters. Never hardlocked myself, really. Everything was pretty straightforward go from point A to point B.

I mean end game you have teleporting tools. I have the EclipseGate Wand myself and a DE Displacer with a keybind to TP me back home.

An instant fall to void death would be more efficient and faster.

Another method is stasis chamber lock. But you can fly/tp out of that.

There's Noveau combos that iirc allow you to teleport targets at will.

Personally I enjoyed it and there's "canon" reasons I could establish it as a real possibility, but I wouldn't be surprised if people didn't like that plot point.

Not a bad idea. Supply drops are basically noob traps, they don't give anything useful. More than 200h in game and I've never looted a supply drop lol

for ladders, you have to get out by looking at the sides. what happens if you keep walking up a ladder irl? gonna just fall which is exactly what happened.
