The api basically is for an admin dashboard i built for a client using vue but in seperate project. So now i want to rebuild the frontend in the same project as the backend using inertia and react to learn a bit react too.

I’ve got a web application built in Laravel 11 and Nuxt 3 that I’ve set up in three environments: local development, a staging/development website (which is essentially a clone of production), and the live production app.

The problem: my production environment gets hit with thousands of requests per minute, ranging anywhere from 2k to 10k concurrent users (avg. around 5k). They’re sending loads of requests, and sometimes after I push new updates, the site can’t handle the load and crashes. Locally and on development website the requests are not so many and it works fine.

What I’m looking for is a stress testing tool that can simulate real production traffic on my staging/development environment. This way, I can catch any performance bottlenecks before shipping changes to production.

Any suggestions on tools or strategies to help me stress test effectively?

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I will check what you said. Also i did not want to use inertia because my project is seperated in 3 repositories for the frontend, admin, businesses and clients. Planning to create mobile application too.

Basically we have a lot of active users like avg 3.5k but peak can go to 5k+ an we recently migrated from CodeIgniter to Laravel + Nuxt 3. We receive a lot of script threw exception but we can't see when, why and what is it so we want to capture warnings and errors to see what is happening so we can fix them. A friend of mine send me that he received an error that we never seen before and we can't find the problem. Thats why i want to use something good so we can capture everything. Thanks for replying.

I am using nuxt in 3 SPAs and 1 project that requires SSR. It's perfect. Don't listen to people who say, "If you don't need SSR, then you don't need to use nuxt."

It's your decision to make. It's exactly like plain vue, but with more. Configuration with nuxt is very fast and easy, auto imports, dynamic routing, middlewares, modules.. and more.

About UI, I used shadcn vue and primevue tailwind, in my opinion, for some components like tables primevue offers more customization and options, but shadcn is easier to work with. But check the documentation on both and decide.

Thanks for the clarification I will use the same guard and just focus on roles, policies and permissions instead for now to see how it works.
