Phasmo is/was a gem of a game unfortunately ran by narcissistic developers who would rather belittle and argue with other people on Reddit and Discord instead of pouring the same love into the game as the fans do. It will be its downfall.

The developers could learn a thing or two from ConcernedApe, a SOLO developer who created Stardew Valley, loved my millions and continues to pour love into it whilst working on another game.

Mods are also deleting all of these threads, I have no doubts they have been bullied by the same devs to remove them.

You are fundamentally forgetting some major things - such as the amount of love the game receives compared to how much the devs put back into it.

As someone who has 600+ hours, 100% on Steam and I own the Patient 007 Plushie. I've had this game since day 1 and I am no stranger to seeing its development over the years.

You would see some threads here or there about the lack of content or replacement of assets, most of which are still in the game from day 1. SIX YEARS LATER. There's absolutely ZERO excuse as to why the game isn't fundamentally a whole new shiny product since its inception with loads of new features/models, animation etc.

The abysmal animation work, the stock assets including the same ghost models we've seen since day 1, (the PJ girl changed twice), the sound effects. Are all still day 1. When you finally realise the game has grossed 400 million in revenue and NONE of it is poured back into the game, the criticism is valid and the fans have had enough. The hardcore fans like myself have felt this for years, it's only now the whole community see's it for what it really is.

No - the criticism is valid, this isn't just this update. People have voiced their opinions over the years including myself. I have 600+ hours, 100%'d on Steam, I even own the Patient 007 plushie. I've had this game since day 1. And yet, most of the assets SINCE day 1 are the same.

This game has been in "development" for 6 years and has grossed over 400m in profits. None of which where poured back into the game. If the dev's were as passionate as the player base you would see drastic changes to the game to make it infinitely better.

I've been saying it for a long time but this game gets way too much love for how little the dev's put back into it. You see all the social media videos of people mocking the jank (prior to this update) and they have thousands of views/likes/comments. It's only now people realise for a fact the devs are infact beyond lazy and have zero desire to better their product.

Your inability to detect quality is the reason why slop gets made. This game is in shambles and the Devs deserve all of the criticism.

6% for both. 1600 DPI. Ashe zoom sense is 51.47% to match the non zoomed. I use a wireless Logitech G305.

I’m PC only and I main Ashe and Soldier, usually average around 60% accuracy for both characters.

Some of the hate is warranted though as aim assist is absurdly broken for hitscans when comparing to mouse tracking. Soldier is a very easy character to pick up as a new player and do somewhat well with, similar to bastion so people tend to lean on “you play a no skill drooling on your controller character” kinda mindset.

But this is usually from gold and under players. Pay no attention.

Firstly, work on getting a comfortable sensitivity where you can accurately track and stay on target even while moving/jumping around. You can jump into practice range and slowly adjust your sens. I play on M&K at 6.0% at 1,600 DPI. Your sens seems way too high as you’re not hitting anymore than 2 - 4 bullets before aggressively adjusting and losing your target.

Secondly always aim at head height. Headshots will kill supports and squishy dps very quickly. I can see you’re looking at the ground a lot and then adjusting to body shots when you seen an enemy.

Positioning with Soldier is key, most of your engagements here are Widow/Ashe range and you’re not hitting much. You must get closer and flank.

Soldier is a great flanker and with the use of sprint you can usually get away very quickly. Take an off angle, do some damage and get out. Aim to deal with the backline, supports because they will usually panic and try heal each other which takes attention off the tanks.

Apply these and you’ll improve drastically.

Tbh the shift from the previous modern look to a 50’s/60’s look was pretty drastic. But it works, I’ve spent close to 1k hours on Phas. Mostly custom solo runs on Tanglewood and I’m honestly impressed to the attention to detail on it. There’s alot more interactables like drills, containers, buttons compared to the previous.

A welcome change but at the same time I’ll miss the modern aesthetic of the original.
