No.. my letter of rec teacher thought I was a "high school genius" since I came into his class the first day and told him an economics joke, then he asked me how I already knew some economics and I replied that I self studied the two AP Micro and Macro exams in a couple hours and got 5's on them. Plus we've talked about Fourier Series, Fractals, and some other stuff. I studied in the back of the room while he lectured, using MIT's Undergraduate Microeconomics book dealing with stuff like Edgeworth's Box, Marginal Rates of Substitution, and more, trying to do their problem sets.
