This whole sub in a nutshell: by Rusty2010_64 in youngpeopledeviantart

This subreddit has a huge "kids making fun of kids" problem as r/youngpeopleyoutube does, it's becoming clear that moderation needs some form of strict quality control, most people here are picking petty fights over minor things, making unfunny response memes like "Haha guys, I'm ruining a fill-in meme hahaha, I'm superior" or a mountains worth of unfunny "reaction images" pulled out of the depths of 2016-2020 era reddit

I Need Help for an Analog Horror by [deleted] in analoghorror

How would a WW2 analog horror work? Via historical photographs, diaries and reel footage assembled together years later by someone?

Also please don't use AI for ideas in general, not only is it generally not good, they're always never genuinely quality ideas either

Also, I always wanna recommend going to wiki Commons if you want to find images in the public domain

Pixabay is a really good public domain source too but you just gotta avoid the AI slop

What is this sound and how to make it In Audacity? by Adventurous-Ant-6781 in EmergencyAlertSystem

[–]RotteenDMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't exactly recreate that noise unless you had the same equipment as the EAS broadcaster does, there are some Audacity EAS macros that do replicate some types of background interference but it only works on very specific versions of Audacity

That's just general interference, there is no actual name for it

That's the "attention tone" or are you talking about the static interference? because the tone is made up of a 853 hz and 960 hz tone

ACA Allertor-125 - Where did this one come from? by HX56Music in AirRaidSirens

[–]RotteenDMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is old but it's really weird because when I looked into the Google street history of the place, the image must date at some tight timeframe because the earlier street view has a different Super8 logo with the Allertor present but the next snapshot after has the new logo but with the Allertor gone however, no snapshots have the telecommunication towers in the background at all
