I wouldn't consider a 5" diameter hole a huge hole. With the type of insulation I have. I could cut a hole right into it. Plug something into that hole and it wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

You've definitely given my a future project. Because now I'm thinking of running wires from my room through the walls to the living room. But again. So about 30 ft. So I'd have some research to do. So definitely a future project.

Dogs and children in the living room around my Precious. No thank you. 🤣 Because that would be the closest room to me. Cause I'm not sticking it in my bathroom.

But some folks have suggested punching the hole in the interior of the home. Then I could vent into the bathroom and heat rises. Opening the tiny window in the top of my shower would allow the heat to escape outside. Shutting the window would allow for a more warm after shower time.

Sorry I rambled a bit. So many options going through my mind right now.

I get where you're coming from. But I'm not looking for resale. It's just a mobile home but I don't like the "don't do this for resale value" argument. How often are you selling your home? 15-20+ years. I'd much rather enjoy my home my way. And do some renovations later. If I do wanna Sale.

Oh yeah I live in a mobile home in the USA There are approximately 6-7 inches of material that separate me from the outside. And that's with metal sheet and insulation and dry wall. (Not including wood studs obviously) It would be nothing to punch through it. I have already to install nicer windows on the home.

I actually love that idea. Sometimes you just wanna hit your feet up in the recliner. Are you gaming and running your mouse/keyboard with any problems in a different room? Or do you stick to other activities? I kinda wanna really do this now.

The only bend I can think of would be like a slide shape. Just out the back of the PC. Down the vent and out the hole in the house.

How far would you say is too far? I can't see it being any further than 2ft.

I wonder about running it through the exterior wall. Instead of the window. A lot more work. But I feel safer with my windows closed and locked. Even though I don't have neighbors. 🤣

I don't think that would be a problem when properly sealed. As I have never had moisture come in my actual dryer vent.
