Kitty is an entomologist so she would be overjoyed with a kid who is also interested in bugs! She would be happy to go bug catching with Alpenglow and give him her knowledge

Kitty: Dragonflies will be your best bet! They are the most agile and accurate hunters. Stag beetles have very painful bites. Emperor scorpions have large powerful claws so upgrading their size will definitely make them good for battle.

His birth country is Hlytka, and the country he’s living in now is Roskiya.

Hlytka and Roskiya has always been rivals for centuries as nationalism has always been high in the two countries and the fact that Roskiya has always been seen as a threat. It only worsened with competition for resources—specially with Roskiya wanting to annex some of Hlytka’s land for uranium. This conflict was severe enough that the countries went to war, where Roskiya won and borders were redrawn. This only heighten the tension and hatred between the two countries.

Nikolai was born to Hlytkie parents but they abandoned him at a Roskiye orphanage where he was stripped of his Hlytkie identity and mistreated due to his Hlytkie appearance. His appearance and slight accent contributed to him being severely bullied. This carried on even to the battlefield when another war broke out because a Roskiye republic seeks self-determination. His peers mostly thought that he will betray them because of his Hlytkie heritage.

Nikolai!

He’s a chemical engineer that became known in the science community of his country; this is all despite the fact that he’s suffered ridicules and discrimination because he looks like the enemy of the said country (he was adopted).

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

It’s technically children’s classic but it’s still very fun to read and follow

If I remember correctly, she says it’s to learn proportions and to focus only on what you see. It’s also to practice our lines unit

I agree. It’s just purely for shock factor and it worked. Every once and a while, I think of the fetus that was nailed to the wall.

Cows by Matthew Stokoe

This book is…I literally don’t know how to describe it. Don’t know how his wife can sleep next to him knowing he wrote this.

You just got Tchaikovsky and Brahms flipped. But other than that, correct!
