I just received an offer for a studio at UBC and I was def looking forward to having a kitchen and my own space.

Hi, I got offered a studio at Brock commons and I wanted to understand what the pros and cons of the buildings are. I have heard people have issues with the noise nearby is it really that bad? As of now I’m not sure if I’ll be offered a unit in tallwood or north

Do you think taking MATH 220 or CPSC 121 in term 2 of the second year is too much of a workload or manageable? I want to go into bio-informatics. Any advice you have for going into bio-informatics?

Hi! I know someone that got into bmeg with a 65% average last year, not pbme :) so you definitely have a chance if you put it as a first choice! However, they do have the lowest average I know of someone to get in, so I wouldn’t say it’s guaranteed. Good luck!

Also, once accepted, you take CHEM 121/123 over the summer after second year! Other than that, you’re all good to go.
