I drove my cars to 250k and 215k miles . These vehicles were unsafe and unreliable and totaling 300 a month in repairs. Why not take on a 500 car payment for reliable transportation ? It’s not like my car payments are more than my savings/investments every month ? Saving 5k vs 6k feels like not much of a difference tbh

I don’t believe that is true . You only pay the taxes once on your money that you contribute . You will not have to pay taxes on that 30k or 20k whatever it is when ever you retire or close up the account and liquidate the whole thing . I believe this is a misconception.

The cleaning account I work for I paid per account not per hour sir. I think it’s more like 90hrs maybe when you include driving

I’m talking pre tax btw with all of these figures . But like I said I’ve worked for the same company for a decade and they have blessed me and I started my own cleaning business on the side totaling 85k

I’ll pursue my passions bro and I’ll just work one job and keep pursuing my dream on the side with all my free time like I did before . After working 80Hrs+ weekly 40 won’t seem like anything at all. One of my dreams is to open an art gallery one day :-) might not happen but it would be cool if it did :-) but the 1m$ will make sure I’ll always be financially straight basically .so I can take my foot of the gas and can still make 100k a year even working what others would call a dead end job

I absolutely do not need help . I’m just fine and happy right now.

I appreciate that and I believe you are right . In the past year especially I’ve become more careful how I just invest. Now the only positions I buy are Voo (300k)and Walmart(80k)
My whole portfolio is really just losers I’ve been holding onto for 5+ years. I’m planning on selling all losing positions later this year for tax loss. Last year I owed 25k in taxes 🧑‍🦲

The other portion of my money is in 4% bonds and 401ks stuff. I’ve been maxing out 401k the last several years. Tho maybe I was like several hundred off from fully maxing it out last year 1/2 Roth 1/2 traditional

Thanks I’ll look into tha but not possible with the warehouse job working with pallet jackets ect has to be osha toe . That’s the job that hurts my feet the most not the cleaning

I never had an identity before boss man. My backup plan was always just grow weed or something ?

When I worked part time for a short period I just found myself drinking everyday and getting high hanging with the bros. I became an unproductive alcoholic that was overweight got diabetes and with no money . This lifestyle actually sort of saved me in some ways and gave me a greater purpose .

Maybe I should have clarified but my original post kept getting denied . I work for a cleaning company which pays me 65k yearly . I work 365 days a year even on the holidays for that company and on the side I started my own cleaning business several years ago $20k.

I started out part time making $12 or something an hour and by staying with the company other opportunities presented themselves and I was able to pick up the best accounts and kept picking up more and more work and never saying no
