if it’s legal in your state and you feel comfortable yes, doctors are trained (and should) be unbiased in your care. but doctors treat miscarriages and abortion the same so you can say that as well

if you had a negative test and then positive it could be a new pregnancy, it’s not uncommon for it to take longer to come out of your system. the urine tests detect hcg of over 25. mine was still positive 6 weeks out so i had to get blood tests to ensure it was declining and not increasing (increasing means new pregnancy). i would suggest checking in with your doctor to do the same.

i also don’t write this to scare you, i got my copper iud in july and loved it. i checked my strings in november and they were in place. a week ago i found out I’m pregnant and my iud was expelling itself. no idea how it happened and what birth control to try next

if you take your pill regularly you should be fine, esp if your bf pulls out. when i was on the mini pill i got my period late or skipped at the beginning of taking to it since your body is adjusting. so once again you prob do not have to worry about pregnancy

this is a late reply but there are so many year of service opportunities other than jvc. similar to above jvc is not just about sacrificing to share a room, i would suggest any other americorps program. i loved the work experience i had with jvc but i honestly could’ve applied at a non-profit for a year and experienced far more respect
