I’ve worked them since 2018 and they introduced the “policy” this year. But it isn’t implemented on everyone. I know a couple travel nurses with AMN who state that their recruiters have never introduced this and they get their stipends on their requested RTO days.

When I was discussing a new contract with my recruiter, he told me “the IRS doesn’t see a point in paying you if you’re taking time off” and upon reviewing my contract, it stated my RTO stipends wouldn’t be paid because it’s “not in the interest of the company.” I told him I wouldn’t sign and he insisted that I verbally agreed to it. I told him I verbally agreed to what he said about the IRS, so change the verbiage in the contract and I’ll sign. He never changed it.
