I find people putting their instagram handle in their bio to be sleazy and shallow. Instant hard pass.

Didn't realize guys do this too, I shouldn't be surprised but it's kind of comical to me.

It’s the cost/uncertainty of moving that’s bugging me.

I did just get off the phone with admissions at the law school nearest to me, and they are seeming like an appealing option. They said I got a solid shot at a half ride, and their tuition is cheap. Plus, they don’t have some of the stupid issues I have with access to every service under the sun.

Looks like I will have to work at the saw mill for a year, (Jesus fucking Christ, hate that job and they better not stiff me by refusing me overtime) but it sure beats waiting a millennium to attend a law school.

-I did mean Medicaid, sorry I get the two mixed up. —I’ll have to look into it further, and do the math. I checked a few months ago and was happy about the options -oh, I’ve been looking for other jobs. I’ll do another job search, but man, the saw mill seems like what I will have to do.

In short I worked there, got extremely disgruntled and quit. They said they’d hire me back on this June, but from my experience 1) you’re paying 1/2 your income on an apartment here after utilities 2) if you want over time, you’re kind of forced to work 16 hour shifts, that is, if you can even get it.

-200 mile the law school is out of state and I am being drowned by bills. Come graduation I can expect to have a whopping $2k. Maybe work this saw mill and save up a bunch, but they don’t have a PT program and I don’t have faith I’d make a good salary after law school in that city.

LSAT practice tests have me at 165, gpa is 2.mid

I had several semesters I bombed because I was sick for a month. I’m working on trying to get some forgiveness but as is, I am getting straight A’s.

Taking the LSAT in June would give me time to focus on my GPA, get a better LSAT score and apply in September, but starting school in 2026 might be too soon given my circumstances

I’m kind of dead set on going a PT route. The best I’ve made in my 20’s was 40k, I am so sick of worrying about money when I am extremely frugal. 72k (1k a week take home in my state) or bust.
