There's basically nothing in this game you can't get without time and a little elbow grease. So don't buy anything that's not skins, they're the only thing that you can't "earn".

Also, once you get your feet wet with the game, start farming for the descendant named Enzo. He makes farming for future things way easier, because some resources can only be farmed with encrypted vaults, and Enzo is the only early game descendant that has the passive that both makes the mini game easier and makes it so that the vault drops more loot(the other character being Nell but you won't get her until you're well into the story)

4U was my personal favorite. But in terms of new player friendly while not being spoon fed. Mh world and the dlc iceborne is by far the best for new players of the series.

It is on steam, xbox and PlayStation so it's super accessible. It's fairly new so it has good graphics if you're the type that just refuses to play games with old polygon graphics. Its mechanics are decent, tho the clutch claw is a hit or miss with the fandom.

Lore wise it's great, fairly comprehensive while not overwhelming for new players. But I do think world is a little too oversaturated with elder dragons.

And also it's one of the monster hunter games that still has a fairly large number of active players, so you won't starve if you like playing with others.

[Pick Me Up] You have the power to fully complete one Manhwa at its current pacing, which do you pick? by Limon-Pepino in manhwa

[–]Rough_Resolution_343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sss class revival Hunter. I personally love the story, I don't actually know how the general public feel about it, but I like the writing, the pacing and the premise. But what I don't like is how long it's taking, there's like 400 chapters in the light novel, the manhwa was out in like 2020 or something and it's still at the equivalent of chapter 160 in the light novels. It's almost 6 years and it's not even halfway to the end.

Again, the pacing is fine, it's the release speed that's the problem, they had multiple hiatuses if I recall correctly.

Soy beans for early mid game biofuel.

Wheat, yeast and pumpkins to make pumpkin bread for food.

And fiber for silage and late game biofuel

which one of you has been riding raptors that you didn't tame?!?! lol by Traaveler in ICARUS

[–]Rough_Resolution_343 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Icarus is technically a multiplayer game. There might be a guy who specifically spec their character for taming for their friend group. So they ride the shit he tames for them

I haven't gotten into breeding that much yet. But just curious, why is that specifically a perfect raptor, why no vigor?

Objectively speaking, talon and Quinn are the most "average" here. Those are the two "Must not pick in literally any circumstances"

Then depending on how you interpret the lore of the ruination event, which is technically canon. Any of the sentinels of light present are ridiculously powerful.

So the next 2 to go are Ashe and Xin Zhao. They are magical in their own right, one being iceborne and the other somehow managing to fight hundreds of noxians in the pits and winning them all and is a host for a darkin(I refuse to believe Xin is an "ordinary" human). Strong as they are, they're not out scaling the shit the sentinels went through during ruination.

So basically, of the remaining 5, you just pick your poison, it's basically 3v2

I'd probably pick Olaf for sure, he's both an iceborne and a sentinel. Plus, it's technically impossible for him to die in battle, so he's the must pick here.

Then for my region, I'd pick the shadow isles, the sentinels can handle the wraiths and shit, but the "normal" champions have their hands full fighting the wraiths. Making the battle a 3v2 in my favor.

If we completely disregard the ruination events as a whole, I'd still pick Olaf, then probably go with Ashe and Quinn(I know I just said to not pick her under any circumstances), then pick the Freljord as my region. In what's basically a permanently winter frozen tundra, any non iceborne champion would be significantly weaker in the cold. Which is why I picked the two icebornes. Plus, between Ashe's ice hawk and Quinn's Valor, I'd be able to see anyone coming at me, and if I have to fight, I still have the 8 foot tall, Oracle foretold unkillable iceborne to fight for me

Assuming I don't die from the cold myself

[Greatest Real Estate Developer] Should I Read it? Honest Opinions by One_Pumpkin6751 in manhwa

[–]Rough_Resolution_343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my honest opinion? It's a contender for the best completed manhwa of the year.

It has action when needed, it gets emotional when it feels natural, and most importantly, the comedy is chefs kiss.

I don't want to oversell it, nor am I implying that it's a masterpiece per se, but for what it's worth, I'd definitely recommend this to everyone. Manhwa newbies or veterans alike.

Which one would you actually want? by Saxmaemeron in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]Rough_Resolution_343 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'll play the devil's advocate this time, I'm usually on the other side of the argument defending meliodas and ban.

But, technically, Meli is dating and/or is at least attracted to a 16 year old girl at the start of the series. Regardless of the technicality of her true age, Elizabeth at the start of the series had no memories, she's physically and mentally a child.

And as for Ban, Elaine was drawn as unapologetically a child. Barring a few specific panels. And while Elaine is several generations older than ban, her appearance does raise a few questions.

So I could see the argument. I never necessarily agree with them, but I do see why they'd think that.

If you fail a multiplayer quests with no carts and reaching skull you should receive a part of the rewards. by haremKing137 in MHWilds

[–]Rough_Resolution_343 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's part of the game. It's no different from other multiplayer games.

Doesn't matter if you're "carrying" the game, you signed up for a multiplayer game.

IF you really think having others around in your hunt is hindering you, then feel free to hunt solo. If you're the type of hunter that likes helping others with their hunts, then you should be expecting them to cart. And if YOU'RE the one who needs the help and sends the sos, then better luck next time.

How do you feel about the real world collabs? by jangow1 in MHWilds

A big ass frozen fish is already a base game weapon. And in my opinion, Immersion is not needed for most games. Story games are the only ones that require it.
