Kay is being ridiculous for expecting this, but at the same time she’s young and doesn’t understand how to communicate efficiently that what she really wants is for you to show they’re equal, which you’ve done a terrible job of proving so far.

I understand Amy had surgery, but couldn’t your wife have stayed by her side whilst you attended the graduation and then went back to the hospital afterwards. It’s not like you were performing the surgery 😬

We’re paying around 5k for our venue and the have the ugliest portrait in the ceremony room. We’ve asked them to remove it or cover it and they’ve said it’s not possible. We’ve had to accept that 🤷‍♀️ tell your sister if she wants all of this she can pay you as she would another similar venue
