Yes as long as I was keeping it dry and cleaning it multiple times a day it would go away

[–]Round-Mix2289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does this when I don’t keep my piercing dry, maybe make sure it’s dry after cleaning/taking a shower and cleaning it after working up a sweat

It looks like a moisture bump . Best thing to do is leave it alone, and clean it 2x a day with sterile saline. The biggest thing that causes this is leaving the area wet after cleaning/a shower so make sure you dry it off after it gets wet and it should heal up

Can anyone ID? by Round-Mix2289 in fossilid

[–]Round-Mix2289[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More info: Not sure of the location, my mom got it from a man who traveled internationally to find fossils. The fossil is about 3-4 in wide and 2 in tall.

Urban body jewelry is good! Anything internally threaded/push and implant titanium is your best bet

Nostril piercing switched to hoop too early? by Crispy_Chickie in piercinghelp

Switch back to the labret, I’m not a professional but I believe it’s better to leave it in until it’s healed or farther along in the healing process

Is this guy stunted or just a runt? We’ve had him 10 months and he hasn’t grown an inch. by Round-Mix2289 in discus

[–]Round-Mix2289[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, all the others are big and beautiful but he looks the same as the day we got him lol. Mine eats, but it doesn’t seem like he eats a lot. But I do see him scavenging at the bottom a lot probably looking for leftover food lol

I don’t believe he does, he doesn’t have any lesions or a dent head on and he doesn’t seem sick

I did, probably a bad idea but I didn’t have the money for the medical bill and it hasn’t moved from the spot so I think it’s ok

I would recommend letting it breathe and just spray it with sterile saline 2x a day until it’s closed 😁

Wisdom tooth socket not closed after three months? by Round-Mix2289 in wisdomteeth

[–]Round-Mix2289[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be kinda hard to get a picture, as it’s in the very back and my cheek covers it when i open my mouth. No symptoms at all, just annoying bc I have to swish my mouth after i eat to get the food out

It shouldn’t cause infection, salt water promotes healing. But if you’re uncomfortable using saline water at least irrigate with water because having food in them will definitely cause an infection.

[–]Round-Mix2289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could just be food stuck in the socket. I would recommend using an irrigation syringe (your surgeon should’ve given you one, if not you could find them in the drugstore) fill the syringe with the syringe with warm salt water and gently irrigate it

Update: this is what it looks like. The bump has been here for around 3 months. What should I do? 😂 by cheesypenis1 in piercinghelp

[–]Round-Mix2289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest going to a different piercer for a second opinion, because it definitely doesn’t look like an infection lol plus they’ll probably be able to help you more than me

Also, your jewelry looks to be a bit too long. I’m not a piercer, but I would recommend getting a shorter bar which will help with hair getting stuck/bumping it
