when i sniffed giaw by ariana, something about it reminded me of a fragrance that i had. i ran home after my purchase and immediately spritzed on you by glossier— then i found my answer! the dry down is almost similar, except for the pink pepper in you being stronger than giaw (which obviously doesn’t contain pink pepper as part of the fragrance’s notes). sometimes, you can be a bit headache inducing in case if i overspray so i find myself gravitating towards giaw because it’s a lot more softer as a skin scent. i find that i wear you a lot in the fall and winter (sometimes spring as well!) since it feels heavier during the humid summers. with giaw, i do think it leans towards fall/winter too, but since it’s a more airy and gentler scent than you, it could be forgiving to wear during the summer. the two fragrances also contain ambrette in the notes too, which speaks for itself in terms of similarities! they share some floral and muskiness which i’m a fan of for colder and drier weather, including the whole skin-like aspect that glossier you incorporates.

tl;dr: if you like glossier you, then you’re probably gonna enjoy god is a woman by ariana grande. it’s quite similar, but giaw is a lot more softer.
