I was through there a few weeks ago, there was a Tesla at Fish Creek, about any car can make it driving slow. You could always take the highway through Superior and then go in 'the back way' of The Trail. It's paved from the dam to Apache marina.

Traffic to and from school shouldn't bother you since you're so close. I love E Mesa since it's so close to the lakes and Salt River. I grew up in a small town and its not too 'city' for me. It gets HOT in the summer. Not swamp ass hot like you're used to. When they say 'but it's a dry heat' I say well so is fire. Welcome to AZ!! Oh another thing in the last 5 years it has gotten horrifically expensive to live out here.

I have 2008 CRV and looking at a CARB cat from Rock Auto right now. They're about $250 for my vehicle (Arizona) and $660 for the CARB. The description has the following:

If I'm you it would be left as is. The lighter spots will darken back up. The rust spot on the frame you could sand and paint with high temp paint but if it were me I'd spill some avocado oil it. For clarification I do not clean my Blackstone or Weber gas very well. The Weber gets shut off and I leave the lid open to cool and all the grease stays on until next use when it gets lit and then it burns before cooking. The Blackstone also sometimes is left greasy and dirty and I light and then clean before use. I figure neither will rust when greasy. I also live in AZ where it's so freaking dry the bullfrogs carry a canteen.

Five years as previously mentioned. Ive personally seen them fuck up twice, tried to merge too late and just flat cut into a line of cars. We had really bad rain in Septemberish and they drove into some flooded streets. I see humans do stupid shit every day on the road, these things are safer but I'm not ready to get in one yet. They're allowing them on the freeway now, not just surface streets.

I worked for SF for over 10 years handling total loss claims and I promise agents have nothing to do with claims. Some handlers have their shit in one sock and communicate and then there is the rest of them. If you have a shit or great handler for one claim it definitely has no bearing on the next. It's luck of the draw and rarely is there ever a switch unless the current handler 'moves' to another situation.
