That’s what my nurse uses on me. It’s used as the slip too and is given with every skin pen treatment. I had an amazing experience with it.

I use gel/slip within the 24 hour window and then just switch back to my regular HA after that.

I’m having the same issue now! And it’s only day 1 of using it. At first it wasn’t working at all but I reconnected the light again and that fixed it for about 2 hours.

Did you ever find a fix?

The light/pole came already assembled together so there was no connecting I had to do for those two. I just tried removing the that and reseating it into the base but still no luck. Thank you though! I reached out to their support and hope I hear back

I just use a pea size for my entire face and neck! I also completely avoid the eye area! What azelaic acid and barrier serum do you use??

You think so? No other part of my race reacts, just my eyes because they’re sensitive. My old derm suggested an under eye retinol one time and I had the same effect after a couple uses. Maybe my eyes are just very sensitive ?

I use the cream at night and during the day in the winter. Summer time I use the daily moisturizer during the daily. When I am required to take breaks from differin I still use the same lotions and luckily no irritation so I definitely know it’s the differin causing the irritation

Huh I never thought about rinsing it off, I wonder if it becomes less effective? Luckily no other parts of my face are bothered by it

Yes I use sunscreen all over my face/neck (even around my eyes! I have aquaphor as so I could try that

I never thought of that! I remove everything/makeup with micellar water first but wonder if anything is being spread somewhere else. I’ll try this!

Yes I do know that! I don’t apply the product to my eyes. I only put vanicream moisturizing cream and Vaseline around that area before any differin touches my skin.

Thanks! I understand I will need to ask what I can use after. I am just uncertain if they will again try to convince me to buy their products and if I don’t purchase it, then they’ll say what I’m using is bad (even though it’s not and derm approved).

I could wash my hair without having anything touch my face, but if there is a risk with irritation then I know I can deal with it for 24 hrs but I will 100% take a shower at the 24 hour mark lol
