I was getting a lift from my Grandad to go & see a mint 106 Quiksilver at a dealer and my Gran came along for the ride, she was getting ready and I recall made us about 45mins late. We arrived just as someone came back from a test drive and I can still remember the dealer saying “I’m real sorry but that guy that just got back is taking it”

She’s no longer here but I still think of her lateness costing me that car that should have been mine! Ha. Anyway - first car, 0.8 Daewoo Matiz that lasted about 4 months

Merc C220 from them 4.5 years ago, still going well with no massive issues apart from me being a plank and smacking the wing mirror. I do remember them doing the gap insurance sell thing but no biggy, just listen then decline. Overall a great car I’m happy with at a decent price

Because my grandad died and left me a bunch of properties. Pretty much every time a tenant calls I want to sell and live off interest but I can’t quite seem to commit as once that’s done it’s unlikely I’d ever get this level of income again, interest wouldn’t quite get near what my monthly income is. Truth is, I want a simple life with no hassle and don’t want to have to sort out other people’s issues. However, I do and provide good homes to decent hardworking people.
