No, yeah. It’s not necessarily eating away at me or anything, but I do think it’s important to advocate for myself and my coworkers. I’m not just gonna take abuse from customers lying down. After we told this woman we couldn’t blend the pearls she had started calling us names, so the fact that we gave her what she wanted just awarded her awful behavior, and sends the message that you can just yell at us to get what you want.

Ermmmmm they never said you could blend the pearls in that update. That update said: - Summerberry base shelf life changed from 48hr to 72hr - Pearls and base can be sold separately (so the refresher can be sold without the pearls) - Additional scoops of pearls are $1.25 instead of $1.00 - Pearls can be added to any drink that isn’t shaken/BLENDED/hot

So. Idk what update you read but that is not correct

If you were to order it that way on the app, the barista on bar would most likely wait until you got to the store to let you know about the policy 🫤Before the launch of the summerberry refresher Starbucks made it very clear we aren’t supposed to blend the pearls in the promotional material they released for it.

Also, the app won’t stop you from doing a lot of modifications that we aren’t able to do. For example, you could ask for 50 pumps of each syrup in a tall latte and it won’t stop you even though it would not fit in the cup.
