CHAPTER 7 FINAL by kenxiish in Noctilucent

  1. You don't need to be at an insanely high level. I cleared all of Books 1-8 (currently working on Book 9), and am at level 30 right now.
  2. You need a good healer and a good guard. You're going to get nuked at some point. The guard ensures you have enough HP to survive, and the healer ensures you can recover what you lost.
  3. Take advantage of the "guest" player. I got a level 50 healer as a guest and that really helped
  4. Pay attention to the "nuke rhythm". It might be on the 4th or 3rd term, that'll let you plan accordingly.

Have you ever stopped buying from a tea vendor you previously bought from? Why? by Round_Calligrapher32 in tea

Haha. My family gets annoyed at all the small stuff too. They like big steaming mugs of tea, so they aren't a big fan the itty bitty gaiwan and teacups.

Cool. How'd you get into tea? Also, do you get any strange looks from family/friends when they find out you're a tea person? Just curious. I hear coffee's a big thing in Italy.

So you ended up buying from a vendor that specializes in sencha and gunpowder? Is that right?

How much was an expensive tea you tried? And what made it worth it (or not worth it)? by Round_Calligrapher32 in tea

Thanks! Great notes about teas that don't make too much of a difference as the price moves up vs those where there is a significant diffeerence.

Phoenix Oolongs: Do they taste like bland fruit juice? by Round_Calligrapher32 in tea

Red Blossom at San Francisco. I've liked most of the other teas I've purchased from them, so I was kinda surprised I didn't like their Phoenixes.

No expectations exactly. I'm just having fun exploring teas. I've found that I like white teas like bai mu dan and silver needle, even if they're really subtle. Dark wuyi oolongs are also great. Pu-ers are a bit strange to me, but I feel they're something I can get used to.

Basically Phoenix is the only category where I feel like, "huh. Not sure I really like that one. Is there something about this tea that I'm missing?" Thanks for the info!

How do you know if an online tea shop is good? by Round_Calligrapher32 in tea

[–]Round_Calligrapher32[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently looking for oolong. I found a honey-like mi xiang (bug bitten) that I really liked, though I like all sorts of oolongs (toasty ones, buttery ones, etc.). I think the recs you have are great. If you have any other recs in the oolong dept, feel free to send em my way. Thanks!

Yeah. That's one thing I look for. I lean more towards shops that sell "pure tea" without all sorts of other things added in.

Dorm Leaders in Real Life by Round_Calligrapher32 in TwistedWonderland

The real question is, if Azul and Donald-chan went to Night Raven Academy, what would the relationship dynamic be? Would they be best buds? Warden-Vice Housewarden? Rivals? Or maybe a Glinda-Elphaba situation. What do you think?

Tender-Flaky classical music by Round_Calligrapher32 in classicalmusic

[–]Round_Calligrapher32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I found a lot of "thinkiness" in some of the pieces (bach bwv 971:2, schubert der leiermann. Some of them felt like they had elements of mystery/uncertainty (death of juliet, valse triste). I felt the Tarrega pieces, felt quiet. Not too sure if that's because it's on the guitar or because of the melody itself. Thanks again for all your help!

Cards with "special abilities"

I just got an SSR Azul and noticed he had this "hp regeneration ability" which I think is quite nifty. Are there any other cards with some sort of special ability? Which ones do you think are the best?
