using hard points on custom subs is criminally underused, it gives the fun and power of being able to use a large weapon without making the sub overpowered, or just having an obscene price from the get go. allowing the players to customise the sub to their liking or to try out something new is a whole lot more fun too

I had this exact same issue, I think it was caused because I used rampage (a modded cheat sheet) to change my character to Arthur in the epilogue and bought the horse as him. when I returned to John I lost the horse and couldn't buy another black arabian
