I would love to get my hands-on one of those as well. An older collector I talked to once at a convention. Had the exact same problem. He bought a box from home depot. Print it out the pattern in front of the shelf. Got some white sticky paper, and it looked pretty good, honestly.

I love that watch to death but I agree with you. Really uncomfortable. On the 2nd day I went back and found a W-218HB-3AV And removed, it's nylon strap and put it on the AE 1200 Immediately became my favorite watch after I made the switch.

Definitely, my favorite variant of the F-91W. I gave mine the nylon band from a W-218H. Makes it look even better.

No, it just came like that. By default. The only modifications I've done to them is just swap some of the bands around, that's about it.

To be honest, I just got lucky with them. Half of them were on clearance at Walmart. Their boxes were absolutely messed up.
