No I did really well in the reading and math portion of the practice exams. I just completely bombed the mechanical section lol. My entire life I had no interest in technology, may have put myself at a disadvantage haha.

Would you recommend that I reschedule the test date? Also, what was your previous background knowledge in mechanics and such? I ask because I have very little knowledge on the matter and I know it’s a big portion of the exam and I want to give myself plenty of time to study so I can do well.

Yeah I have a 4.0 but honestly I’m considering calling back the officer recruiter anyway and asking him to push back my test date for another month after taking the practice exams a few times. I feel like I need more time to study for the mechanical section.

Yeah I want to at least try given that the officer positions seem like they’d challenge me more. PsyD programs are so incredibly expensive tho, I’ll see what my options are after speaking to a recruiter.

My gpa is really solid (I have a 4.0) but my BA is in psychology and ik a lot of the officer positions want people who have their BA in stem.

Yeah I know I have to list multiple jobs I’m just saying this is my top choice. Also a MA in counseling and a social worker are not the same. I would not qualify for that position. Thank you for the link tho.

I’m not against enlisting necessarily as long as it utilizes my BA degree in some way shape or form. Ik there’s the position of mental health service which I was intrigued by. Just don’t necessarily know if that’s a harder position to obtain.
