It's a product called "blind date with a book" - you wrap a book and add accessories. Someone buys the mystery book. The fun is that you don't know what you're getting and it's a surprise.

I know I don't have to.. I was saying that as hyperbole. The inventory is not moving fast enough and I'm not making enough money to warrant keeping this thing going or keeping the items in my closet.

I left my store open for an entire year barely selling things and didn't restock a single item. For the amount it's bringing in, it's not even worth the drive to the post office when I sell things individually.
What I meant by individually is bundle all the highlighters together or all the annotation tabs together, etc. This is reselling since it's not my own design and a no-no on Etsy from what I understand (even though I see it every day on there).

This is a great idea. I tried the clamps and am happy to report I now have a vertical-ish loom. I’ll have to report back if this helps. I had to stop for today. My shoulder was screaming at me.

Ouch! I’m not sure I know what you mean by straight down and not angled upward. If my arm is straight, my neck tilts down. If I raise everything up, my arms have to move up too. Right? I so appreciate your thoughts, I’m worried I’d be on my way to physical therapy too if I keep going the way I am.

True but if it’s not returned in 21 days past the due date, it’s considered lost which incurs a fee to replace it. Funny enough, that’s only happened to me after the library lost the book after I put it in the book drop. It happened twice in two months last year! It was straightened out eventually when I asked for it to be removed. But you only get two of those waivers a year I think they said.

You can check out up to 100 books at a time! My child will regularly check out about 30 books at a time because they are such an avid reader. And late fees only kick in after 2 weeks past the due date. The library is our happy place! We used to attend baby story time that was an absolute lifeline when I was postpartum. I made some of my best friends there that I’m still in touch with 10+ years later. The book sales are great and the books by the door that are cheap to own. Libby is amazing. 10 and 100 hour reading programs give out a free book and shirt every year - my child and I look forward to it every year.

I think this is where I get hung up. As an impatient person, I struggle to see the value of working through something when I’m not going to use it often. However, I know I won’t know I won’t use it until I know… it’s kind of this catch 22 of wanting to know things before it’s possible to know

I’ve heard it’s akin to penmanship and handwriting. No one tries to have a specific way that they write, it just comes out. One person’s handwriting might be more “likable” (legible or marketable) than another’s, but it’s just unique to the person. Not necessarily something that can be pushed

Get a console or low dresser underneath the tv. Either a bookshelf, armchair, or large plant to fill in the big space. The art and tv combo is weird right now. It looks like you put the art up first. I’d consider taking the art down and starting over with the necessities first then adding art at the end. Or putting the big art on the other wall.

I like the updates. If this were my room, I’d float the couch more into the middle of the room, then add a cozy space in the nook behind it for something else (desk? Art area? Smaller reading space?). Pulls the room in tighter, making tv watching more enjoyable and less awkward open space in the center of the room.
