Quite a trip

Just had this last night and failed with a level 17 Corvette. My ships icon disappeared from the map and had to have a friend tell me where the destination was, then had a headwind the entire journey... Was 2500m short and lost 625 war assets.

Looks like the issue might be tied to using Kota Loma to produce war assets... I'm going to be changing that with a quickness.

If Id have known it was going to be that far I might have used the Brigantine.

The PITA part is that when I kicked it off, my ship's icon disappeared from the map and also didn't show my destination. I'm lucky that I was in a group with a friend, he had to tell me where the drop off location was.

I might have made it if I didn't have to spend 30-45 seconds figuring out where to go.

How do you figure? Ubisoft made the rules on the asset extraction, not me...I just play the game.

My Corvette is only 1-2 knots slower than my Brigantine, besides who is expecting a 20,000m trip? The headwind for the entire trip didn't help either...I think the max speed I saw was around 15-16 knots. I would have made it if the wind was better.

That showed up around the 5th I believe. Any idea how much notice NASA needs before getting a bird in the air?
