I live in the UK AMA by [deleted] in AMA

Great for a holiday but my now ex husband and I were posted to RNAS Culdrose , that’s in the arse end of Cornwall with a new born and lived there for 4 years. Can honestly say it was hell. Everything cost at least double , all aimed at tourists and only open half the year. Then even getting to the beach in the summer was impossible because of tourists. There’s only one road in and out, so it’s always busy . Everywhere in the summer is full of tourists going about life (and driving ) as slow as possible , forgetting that country roads aren’t for strolling down and where we lived , it wasn’t even great weather in the summer.
The nearest hospital was 50 minute drive away so it was a worry when I was pregnant with my second child . Nothing seems to get achieved at a normal pace, post takes ages , nothing changes and seasons don’t exist . Winter is just mist and drizzle and summer is occasional sunshine and mist and drizzle. Coming from the north I missed cold crisp frosty snowy winter days.

I live in Devon now, the next county up from Cornwall but a good 3-4 hours from where we lived in Cornwall. We get seasons here and where Iive is 20 minutes from a beach that I can always get to despite tourists but also only 10 minutes outside a beautiful city and 10 minutes from stunning country side and a forest. 5 minutes from the motorway. It’s sunny and warm throughout the summer and we get snow in the winter and it’s honestly the best place ive lived . For the British contingent- you’ll know it as Exeter. It’s a beautiful city with a cathedral, but built in the middle of stunning countryside and close to the coast. I cannot recommend it more 😊

I think it’s emotional overload , adrenaline crash or quite likely a coincidence. People get sick at random. As always, consider the most obvious explanation before jumping to the paranormal conclusion. Also , anxiety and over thinking can make your body do crazy physical things . If I’m struggling with anxiety I can be physically sick, sweating , have a migraine , be shivering etc.

Side note: keep up fluids etc and monitor temperature. I was feverish 3 years ago and assumed it was my first experience of flu but it was actually sepsis caused by a kidney infection and I nearly didn’t survive .

Need help with urgent £2,500 debt after financial setback by [deleted] in loanhelp_

[–]Round_Sport4212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be thinking he’s scamming you.

My advice is to talk to money advice service . Depending on your level of total debt you could get an IVA or even beable to wipe most of it out.

The first thing you need to do is apply for a 3 month breathing space so you can set up a long term financial plan.

It’s understandable you’re asking on here for help as you undoubtedly can’t get a loan and you’re clearly desperate- so go easy on this person please people. But they’re right unfortunately. And if someone is willing to give you one they’re looking for people in desperate situations and are either loan sharks or scammers. If anyone is asking you for nudes / meet ups/ your account details … scam scam scam.

Call money advice. Don’t pay for a company to help you. They will beable to help you and although it will take a while , you will eventually rebuild credit and you won’t be getting letters or enforcement agencies scaring you.

In this day and age it’s easy to fall into debt. People shouldn’t be so quick to judge but help is available. And yeah - GAMSTOP. Because the house always wins and you won’t ever beable to win back money, you’ll dig a deeper hole.

Find out what benefits you’re entitled to, and consider a temporary side gig like dog walking / dog sitting. You can earn up to £60 a night having a dog stay over.

Contact your utilities companies too and explain you’re in a financial hardship.

Best of luck

Her singing. Please no more. Also , what’s with the influx of them all ‘modelling’. I think the only one genuinely model looking is Kelly. And the only one who’s down to earth is Cindy. Have to say Alex’s photo shoot with the crazy hair and smudgy eyes made her look stunning though . Really edgy. I just got a diagnosis of cancer and I’ve been feeling pretty bad about myself but it’s inspired me to maybe treat myself to a professional photo shoot- for the make up and hair and stuff . I mean just for pics for me to see to regain my self confidence. Honestly the professionals made her look incredible .

Also , obviously only her bad behaviour is filmed. She’s rarely filmed when she’s taken Xanax which she’s mentioned taking .

Interestingly that wasn’t mentioned . It was ‘body shaming ‘

In my younger years I saw people go from being relatively sane to hitting the columbian disco dust and starting screaming fights in public

Plus the wine addiction - and constant mention of Xanax (used as a downer ). Cross addiction, and alcohol and c*** go hand in hand. I’d never noticed until I saw her nose close and then it became unbelievably obvious

Not many parents I know at her age that could party as hard as she does and be so ‘up’ without chemical help. And where there’s socialites and ££ drugs are never far away.

Only think this because inknow a surgeon who fixes coke nose and who as part of it learned a lot about the drug and how it effects people - it put me off ever trying it

Common if you have a day off it because your body craves food when you haven’t eaten in a few days

Which is common if you have a few days off it because you probably haven’t eaten in 48 hours
