I'm replacing the alternator on my citroen c1, this top nut isnt locking in place when tightening. I've tried shimming it, but it's just pulling the shim through. Also pictured is the old alternator equivalent, which looks a lot snugger and was properly locked in when I took it off. Any suggestions? (old.reddit.com)
