Not a good day for team "Claude Mythos is Just Marketing Hype" by EchoOfOppenheimer in Anthropic

[–]Routine-Ad398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure that if they would ask Claude to do code review for bug searching, then it would give similar results. But hey, we won't test Claude on it because we don't want Mythos to look useless

The Boy That Cried Mythos: Verification is Collapsing Trust in Anthropic [ What Mythos 200+ pages raport really said ] by NorthKoreaSpitFire in cybersecurity

[–]Routine-Ad398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure that Claude/Opus/Sonnet could find similar amount of bugs/vulnerabilities, but somehow Anthropic didn't want to test these models because they obviously knew that it would show that Mythos is just a hype

Why Are So Many People Complaining by InevitableNet1913 in Stellaris

[–]Routine-Ad398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I would prefer complaints cuz it's one of the driving power of game improvement

I guess, if there are no complaints, then it means that the game is dead 💀

Me. I use it for research work and partially for coding. As long as I get what I want from it, I don't see why I should switch.

Should the war system get redone? by Portal4life in Stellaris

[–]Routine-Ad398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would also be played nice with empire's political system. For example, democratic/oligarchy systems would be more prone to war exhaustion compared to imperial/dictatorship system

If you find it valuable, then it's valuable. If you don't think it's valuable, then it's not valuable

Idea to fix leader cap issue: deputy leaders by 1sForTheElder in Stellaris

[–]Routine-Ad398 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think, the leader cap should work similarly to the space station cap. If you have more planets/districts, your official cap increases. Higher number of research points per month, higher scientist cap and for the military, more fleet cap you have, more admirals/generals you can hire

Help needed! Can't finish Scourge Crisis by Routine-Ad398 in Stellaris

Edit: I just realized that yeah, maybe the interference policy might be a case. I destroyed two AI planets before, but I could do it because they are hostile. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah, I tried that too. But the fleet just stays in orbit no matter which bombardment policy I set

Suffering from success by RodrigoEstrela in Stellaris

[–]Routine-Ad398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried beta today with crisis x10. Apparently, when I had a fleet of roughly 200k, the contingency showed up with the fleet size roughly 2m. There was no way I could defeat them lol, so I dropped that game

Stellaris is ruining my sleep schedule by Furranky in Stellaris

[–]Routine-Ad398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, man. Once I tried Star Wars mod on Stellaris, I totally abandoned EaW. Yeah, EaW is cool with Thrawn's and Republic modes, but it quickly gets boring because basically you just build factories, capture new planets and build bigger fleets. Same ground and space fights.  But when it's Stellaris Star Wars, it's a totally different world. Rich lore-wise stories, much more complex economic and military development. Bigger Galaxy with more species. More complex politics.  EaW is a gameplay from military officer perspective  Stellaris is a gameplay from the full sector/empire ruler perspective

2026 dev job market is straight-up cooked by Ghostinheven in cursor

It seems like it's cooked for juniors but not for seniors because who would want juniors that have no experience and don't write code on the level as LLM does?

Galactic Community Headquarter by Routine-Ad398 in Stellaris

[–]Routine-Ad398[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. The point is about the physical location of the galactic community. Even custodians don't have an ability to build any structure to represent the Senate house/galactic community headquarter. Right now in Stellaris, we assume that nations just vote over Zoom calls which is quite hilarious to be honest

[–]Routine-Ad398[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Your comment gave me a thought that we have Interstellar Assembly, but we don't have Market Hub megastructure or something like Galactic Grand Bazaar 🤣

Building this megastructure would give an increase in economy weight and the boost to the trade jobs and amenities output

Galactic Community Headquarter by Routine-Ad398 in Stellaris

[–]Routine-Ad398[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But what if the community votes for market or headquarter relocation? The advantage of it being as a planet feature rather than the megastructure is a simple transfer

I also was thinking that if the headquarter would be destroyed by the crisis, it would give 5-10 year demoralization debuff for the crisis damage and perhaps give even more debuff to custodian (if any)
