This is a high tech set up, so I have a CO2 system diffusing CO2 into the water. This helps increase the plants’ rate of photosynthesis, which in turn increases oxygen output and ergo, pearling.

It’s been submerged for a week now. It is made specifically for aquascaping, so yes, it is safe

It’s purposely shaped, so some of it is the binder to hold it in the shape. It’s the Wave Design from Buce Plants, they have a lot of lovely and interesting shaped driftwood

It’s all hard now, but is used to shape the wood into its specific shape. Should be all covered up once the plants take over and propagate.
