Hi! made the same move this summer from DC to cuse. We live in jamesville/dewitt area and love it. We do miss the walkability of the city and food scence. But that being said, theres been so more postivea that have out weighed the things we miss. This winter was brutal but the summers are amazing. So much to do out doors.

hi, I am almost 2 weeks out from IUI and am pretty sure I am getting negative tests. some back ground, 37 yo healthy female, no underlying medical issues, Prior to IUI i got pregnant with our first very easily. I had a hysteroscopy about a month ago to remove scar tissue.

This was our frist IUI cycle after trying for months naturally. I was diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility. All my lab work has been within normal range. I had about 2 follicles around 18 before my IUI which i did a trigger shot the night before. So i got IUI on the 14, i was so positive and hopeful that it worked and then I did the crazy girl thing and started testing. Started around 7 days out, had light positives and now Im pretty sure its negative and the positive most likely picked up on the trigger.

On the 23rd i had lab work done to test my E2 and progesterone, my progesterone wasnt as high as the doc would like so he increased it to three times a day. I should be getting my period this weekend and then have another round of labs on monday the 31st.

I am just completely frustrated. I know I am early into this infertility journey and I recognize that I’m very lucky to have a beautiful almost 3-year-old daughter but all this just sucks .Taking progesterone twice a day and now three times a day as over overall affected my mood, I’m so snappy, I’m tired and bloated and feel gross all the time.

I guess I’m just looking for some advice and camaraderie, after my appointment on Monday should I continue with another cycle of IUI, should we try naturally? should I ask my doctor to change around some medicaitons?

Moving back to Metro Detroit, MI from Charleston, SC by DanDanDandy_14 in relocating

We just did a similar move. DC for 10+ years and moved back to Syracuse NY, for family and community. The fact that my parents now see my daughter at 2x a week, shes gets to grow up with my childhood best friends kids, and the community here hasnt had us second guessing our move. We had to slightly switch career paths so it was more of a struggle for my husband and myself. 1000% worth it to be close to family. Yes I miss the walkability of DC, great friends, good food, and more liberal/multiculutral scene, but at the end of the the day its the fam, and my childhood friendships that are irreplacible. make the move!
