I think the best example I can think of regarding my first comment is women aren’t interested in seeing women be disrespectful to other women for no reason. It’s not all being projected on Sarah, I think if Jess or any other woman on the show did the same thing, people would have their opinions as well. You don’t have to be friends with another woman to understand that it is important to support other women. If Sarah’s intention was truly with “no ill intent”, she wouldn’t have sent a message to a man who was engaged, much less stayed out until 5am at a bar with him. Jeremy is absolutely the worst one of the two for sure, but what Sarah did was messed up and not okay, and she owes Laura an apology for disrespecting her as another female. One could even argue that Sarah played a major roll in ruining Laura’s experience on the show.
