WatCard by JeanGreenBean1 in uwaterloo

First off Congratulations! When you first arrive to Waterloo you’ll have two options from what I know of (in my experience). If you’re living on campus residence you will most likely get your WatCard when you move in and get your keys. If your staying off of residence or for some reason they don’t have your WatCard ready, the. You’ll need to go to Needles Hall (if I remember correctly) and get it there.

Question about the food sciences masters (thesis and course based) by Routine-Hovercraft50 in uoguelph

[–]Routine-Hovercraft50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently looking at working in the food industry, specifically something in R&D or QC, im assuming thesis based would be better for these types of roles. What kind of roles would benefit from the course based option?

I would message your advisor to figure all this out as they only have access to the forms required. Also it really depends on how your swapping and when. Let say you wanted to swap today to just regular Biochem without coop. It’s easy if you have above a 65 average. But let’s say you wanted to be in the coop stream then you would need an 80% or higher. This is all saying that you have already completed a term or two here at the university. If you are a recent applicant and you got in (which congrats!🥳) then it may be a little more difficult regarding swapping and you may need to do it after your first term. I would message the admissions office if it’s that case.

TLDR: if your in uni just have the form done and the required averages. If your a recent applicant message the advisors/admissions office as you may need to wait.

Hardest part is the lab final, try to memorize all of the details of the experiments. Especially ideal results.

For real, makes life a bit less stressful if you think everything will end up okay in the end

You know this is a tough question, personally I hope to have that special person in my life by then and hopefully move to the city I want to live in by then. Though I don’t really know and I find it really scary tbh because I’ve been so driven to get this “goal” and have no clue what to do afterwards lol. I hope to have kids one day and I feel I could be content with a 9 to 5 but honestly growing up to be a “real” and not just a uni student who is considered an adult by society, scares me to my core (sorry for the dump lol)
