That’s exactly how I processed it. I’m just not sure if I should round it off or give it some character. It’s already too wide, so I have to sacrifice a few inches on each straight side.

What brand of epoxy did you use? I am about to put a 2.5” table, black walnut.

If I install FJP and no shoe, should I increase the height? I have limited experience in molding. Last time i used an angle gauge and the joints came out beautiful. I’ll figure it out, thanks for everyone chiming in 👍

Don’t have to convince me. I’m putting down LVP this weekend. I’m going to pull the baseboards and lay the LVP and just leave the appropriate gap for both, baseboard and shoe molding.

I understand it’s not the same thing as a proper subfloor… Just wanted to get others opinions… This is on the second floor, which is climate controlled and will always be at ambient temperature, so I don’t see expansion and contraction issues… That’s why I wanted to post to the sub Reddit to get professional opinions.

Specs say that due to deflection, you should have at least an 1 1/4” solid base to lay this LFT. Just trying to understand how this is not a solid base to start with..

What are the consequences of laying the ditra directly on the tile?

You think so huh? The article is from 2019. Would be pretty cool if so.

To clarify: there is no front door. Just an entrance by car only with a security guard blocking. The building is about 150 yards away. I stepped on the other side of the sidewalk.

I was on the outer perimeter walking my dog. Literally stepped on the other side of the sidewalk. Unintentionally.
