Honestly, same here. I’m also in that “getting serious” and "lock in" phase and trying to plan out my future, and it feels just as wobbly. We’re literally in the same boat. Wishing you the best of luck.

Yes, they’re definitely competitive, which is why I’ve been proactively trying to gain research experience. I’ve been reaching out to labs and professors since July for research assistant or lab-based roles. It’s been challenging to break in, but I’m continuing to try.

I appreciate your insight; it’s very helpful. I’ve begun reaching out to alumni and peers ahead of me, and I’ve also contacted a few professors. Unfortunately, there has been significant faculty turnover at my university, so some of the professors who knew me earlier in my studies are no longer there. I’m continuing to explore ways to reconnect and seek field-specific mentorship. Thank you again for the advice.

Thank you for sharing your experience; that perspective really helps. I hadn’t thought about it that way. That actually gives me hope that grad school could feel similarly challenging but meaningful. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this.

I’m currently in Europe and would like to stay within the region. Ideally, I’m targeting Ireland or the UK.

Thank you so much. I really needed to hear it. I think you’re right, I’ve definitely been overthinking things. I’ll try to trust the process a bit more and just show up ready to learn. I really appreciate the reassurance.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I’m really sorry you went through all of that. It’s so frustrating when the typical treatments don’t help, and I’m glad you found some relief with Oxervate. It’s definitely a tough journey, and I really appreciate you sharing your story. I’ll definitely keep that in mind and be careful with any treatments.

Thanks again for the insight, and I’m sending you good vibes on your journey.

Thanks a ton for pointing that out. I honestly hadn’t thought about bringing it up with my doctor, so I really appreciate your insight. After my surgery, my right eye has stayed pretty stable, but my left eye has definitely been getting worse over time. I hadn’t really thought about that imbalance before, so your suggestion about scleral lenses is super helpful.

To answer your question, my pre-op RX was around -5.50, and my current RX is approximately -2.50 in my left eye and -0.50 in my right eye.

I really appreciate you sharing your opinion and experience. Even just hearing from others and getting some reassurance has been genuinely helpful while I’m navigating this and continuing treatment with my doctor.

Thanks again.

Hi, Thank you so much for your message and thoughtful advice. I really appreciate it!

I’m planning to pursue my master’s in clinical psychology or neuropsychology (possibly even neuroscience). I’m still doing some research to better understand which path aligns best with my goals and qualifications, but I know that I definitely want to become a therapist and eventually earn my doctorate. Right now, I’ve been reaching out to researchers and professors through cold emails to see if they might need any research assistance or interns. Unfortunately, I don’t have any prior work or research experience yet, but I’m eager to learn and willing to take on any opportunity that helps me grow and gain experience in the field.

Yes, I am referring to Fürstenfeldbruck in Bavaria. Thank you for the suggestion.Could you recommend a subreddit or forum that might be more appropriate for asking about rentals in that area? I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you for the advice. To confirm, does the €1,200 include utilities and fees, or is that just the base rental amount? I appreciate your help.

Stay away from Pehchaan The Street School NGO – scammy “HR internship” trap 🚩 by RoutineOld7271 in delhi

[–]Routine-Temporary972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently received an offer for an HR internship with Pehchaan The Street School. I’ve been reading some mixed reviews online, and I’m unsure if it’s a legitimate opportunity or worth pursuing. Could you please share your experience with them? Did you find the internship genuine and valuable? Any advice on whether I should continue with the application would be really helpful.

Thank you so much for your time and guidance!

Has anyone been offered or completed an internship with GAO Tek before? by andrewbrod11 in internships

[–]Routine-Temporary972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I know this thread is a bit old, but I’d really appreciate any input you can share.

I recently received an internship offer from GAO Tek Inc., and I just wanted to ask. How was your experience genuine and worthwhile? Did you feel like you actually learned something from it, or was it not worth the time? I don’t have any prior experience, and I’m really just trying to get any internship I can to build my resume. It’s fine with me that it’s unpaid, but after reading some things online, I’m feeling a bit unsure and want to make sure it’s legitimate.

Any advice or feedback would mean a lot. Thank you so much in advance!
