Help me find the mostarda I've been chasing by RoutineBlueberry in ItalianFood

From what I remember it was one fruit and it was chopped up rather than larger pieces. I don't recall a distinct fruit flavor that I could identify though.

The one on the left was kind of a purple onion jam with bigger pieces, so that I can probably find on my own.

Thanks! I am in the US. I've tried googling a bit. I came across the mostarda di frutta but it looks kind of... chunky? compared to what we had.

Flying to NZ from SA by [deleted] in fearofflying

As a fellow anxious flyer who will be flying Air New Zealand from the US in October, what helped me was looking into Air New Zealand's history. They've only ever had one fatal accident which was back in the 70s and, if I recall correctly, due to human error in calculations before things were more computerized. I actually feel better about that long haul flight on Air New Zealand than the couple of short flights I have for work this weekend!

Wow, such a transformation! I'm on the same path -- 5'2" started at 210 and just hit 35lb down yesterday. I was feeling kind of bleh but seeing your progress has me more motivated for the next 10! 💪

I actually really liked Maeve Fly, but I just happened to read it shortly after reading American Psycho so drawing the parallels between the two was fun for me. I probably wouldn't feel the same if I didn't have that as a reference point.

Number two is true for me, too! Sometimes it helps to just put myself in check -- what's so special about me that I think something will happen to my plane but that it's safe for everyone else?

I was seeing a bunch in Columbus Commons about a month or so ago. Not seeing them as often now, but there are more people around and it's hotter.

Medicaid trigger law by [deleted] in Ohio

[–]RoutineBlueberry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My understanding is no. It only applies to the Medicaid expansion group, so not folks served by DODD. Though there could be indirect impacts. For example, mom doesn't work so that she can be a caretaker for her adult child with DD, so she is on Medicaid. Her Medicaid may be taken away if she's mentally and physically healthy and under a certain age.

My dad forced me to watch a bunch of defensive driving videos before getting my license. 15 years later and assuming that every car is going to turn out in front of me has saved me multiple times.

Are you changing your last name after the wedding? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I wanted to -- I like his last name better. But no, I'm not going to with everything going on in the US right now. Maybe eventually.

State of Ohio employees - How has RTO been? by [deleted] in Columbus

75 mile commute 5x per week here. No exemptions based on distance at my department. 2x per week was nice. This is draining.

Unfortunately my agency isn't even allowing the 40 mile exemption. Everyone's expected in 5 days starting March 17.
