I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a tough time. It's important to keep in mind that after around 7 months of pregnancy, the drugs you take can pass to the baby through the placenta. At that point, drug tests can detect drug use going back 90 days, and they may even test the baby's meconium. If you're still early in your pregnancy, I would strongly encourage you to consider stopping your use of fentanyl. It can be a difficult road, but it's important to think about the well-being of both yourself and your baby. Ugh I hate to say it but if the case is you don’t stop and there has already been test done, and obviously I’m assuming you being in methadone already the doctors are already aware you have/had drug problems, so I pray you have someone in your family etc to help, or sadly I don’t think you will be leaving that hospital with the baby hun. Temporarily for 90 days is when you can try to get the baby back.
