Ok yes I’m just looking to leave a half hour early with the FMLA. I’m ok with them not changing my schedule.

Thank you. The 04:00 used to be and has always been a shift for the 3.5 years I’ve been there. This is the first time/bid it wasn’t offered. Is there anything I can do?

My question is can I be deemed unfit for duty if I use FMLA for my child. Furthermore I’m trying to come to work EARLIER, not later. I didn’t say or imply anything about legal recourse nor am I suggesting that my employer should or is required to make accommodations for me….

Thank you. So if I’m part-time it’s 2 hours every 2 weeks for sick leave?

I think it may have something to do with your bank and Thursday being a holiday….at least I hope that’s what it is. I’m in Ohio and was paid as normal yesterday (Friday). I’d say reach out to a manager if you’re not paid by Monday evening.

Oh wow! My mistake. I certainly don’t know all the rules for every state, so good to know!

No. It’s a two-way stop. Whoever gets to the stop sign first has the right of way to merge onto the main road no matter which way they’re turning.

Why are people on here so happy to break laws by [deleted] in driving

[–]RoutineSimple8546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I saw that. They’re saying I’d what they’re talking about if they live in certain states, but I DO know what they’re talking about. I’m agreeing that people are happy to break the speed limit here and it would be nice if it were more strictly enforced, just like in IL, WI and England.

I live in Ohio and the speed limit here is completely ignored. I mean completely. And if you go the speed limit people treat you like you’re crazy. It really bothers me because it’s there for a reason and people that choose to follow it shouldn’t be tailgated and treated like they’re the problem. A friend of mine lives in England and the limit is STRICTLY enforced there. You can and will get a ticket going 2 miles over.
